These awards are given to the websites which best exemplify quality, frequent and timely updates, which do a great job of covering HS baseball and helpful to TBR.  Let me add that there are several nice sites, but you can't pick them all in one year! 

NCAA Division 1

VANDERBILT - this site was vastly improved over last season with live stats, prompt updates and a new look.

NCAA Division 2 & 3

 TUSCULUM COLLEGE - Remains the cream of the crop in this division.

NAIA All Divisions

LEE UNIVERSITY - Again, this site is the top site because it updates scores and has stories virtually as the game ends.

JUCO BASEBALL

Hiwassee College - This site was totally revamped and you can get the box scores of every game. Easy to use and look at, the site jumped to the top of the charts this season.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Ooltewah HS - very neat and good looking site. This site is updated promptly and well done.

Best Resource for High School Baseball

Best Daily Newspaper Overall Coverage

Jackson Sun - 2 time winner, the Sun gives the best overall coverage of any newspaper in it's category.The All West TN teams are super as usual.

Best Daily Newspaper  Daily Coverage

Jackson Sun - the Sun takes this award as they stepped up this spring and had more details with their stories. If they had an area scoreboard they would be complete.

Best Hometown Newspapers

Daily

Free Press    Johnson City   2nd year in a row for the Free Press.  Feature articles and stories on teams as well as a nice end of season awards with the Super 22. Also an area top 10 during the season.

Non Daily

News Examiner  Gallatin  the paper jumped back up and did a much better job covering and putting stories online. Now if they would bring back the stats for the All-County teams like they used to do it would be tough to ever beat them.

Best JUCO Coverage

Citizen Tribune  Morristown  the paper does a great job of covering Walters State, which is fun to do here lately.  Timely updates and pictures from each game.

Most Improved JUCO Coverage

State Gazette   Dyersburg  The Gazette went from virtually no coverage to pretty good coverage. Of course it helps when the local college team wins some games. It makes it easier to cover this league when papers put good stories online and the Gazette stepped up this year.
