Coaches comments: Coaches comments:
Greg Dennis - "These guys are the benchmarks for this conference and week-in / week-out they are the team to beat. They throw so many good elements at you it is crazy! Plus arms on the mound, solid defensive team and guys at the plate that combine power and bat control. They are great at making you play their game and creating an atmosphere where you are playing catch-up the entire time. Coach Campbell and his staff are very organized and professional in their approach and just simply are NOT going to beat themselves. We must continue to dictate our tempo of play and try and maintain a 3-out per inning philosophy against them. The key to our playing well in this series is to compete in the zone on the mound and eliminate long innings for them at the plate. If we can keep the score down and shorten their game, we stand a better chance of winning at the end. We have done a good job all year of doing that and we MUST continue to battle at doing it." Ken Campbell - "Coach Dennis has done an unbelievable job since he's been at Chattanooga. Their record and rankings speak for themselves. We know this will be the toughest challenge that we have faced thus far this season. Our pitching staff faces a tremendous challenge in trying to control their offense as they are one of the top hitting teams that we have faced all year. They may also have the best fielding team in our league, so this weekend will be about as tough as it gets. We must play fundamentally sound baseball. With a team like Chatta-nooga, you can't give them extra opportunities or they will kill you. Our pitchers must throw strikes and our defense must make all the routine plays. Their defense is too good to give us extra chances as well, so we've got to hit the ball this weekend to have a chance in this series."

Highlights -Walters fell behind early but got runs started in the 2nd inning as they
continued to use the "big inning" to win.
Series Highlights - As said earlier, Walters scored early and often and kept the pressure on throughout the entire weekend. Their pitchers threw strikes and their hitters were ever-present in the zone. Other than game 2 we didn't effectively pitch to them and that is a credit to their approach.
