| Mike Policastro - "Vol State is capable of winning every series that they play. We know that they are going to swing the bat and pitch well. Coach Crossland will have them ready to play in what could be a pivotal series for each team. Vol State is also very tough to play at home. We must Continue to give good efforts on the mound and hope that the hitters are able to capitalize on some mistakes. We must be more aggres-sive offensively and make the plays defensively. We cannot afford to give up the big inning which has been our downfall so far. We must compete every pitch of every game to have a chance to win this weekend." | Mike Crossland - " Cleveland has not played the way that they are capable. That is scary with the way that we play at times. We have been notorious for getting teams hot. I know that Coach Policastro will have his guys ready to come in and get after us. We must simply play better. We are last in the league in fielding and that is unaccept-able with the talent that we have. We must throw strikes on a more consistent basis and make routine plays if we are going to have a chance to compete the rest of the way." | ||||||
