Just like any other team in our confer-ence, if you make mistakes and give extra opportun-ities, they will make you pay. Play better fundamental baseball. We have found early struggles this season in many aspects of the game. We have not put the pieces of the puzzle together yet as far as quality pitching performances, offensive production, solid defense and smart base-running. Highlights -Columbia State jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first off Thomas
Gray but the Tigers responded with 5 runs in the bottom half of the inning.  Gray
settled down and battled through 6 more innings against the good-hitting Columbia
State team and finished the game.  The Tigers scored in multiple innings and put the
game away in the 7th with 5 runs.  Kendal Wells and Trey Burstrom had 5 and 4 hits
respectively and Nathan Rochester continued his torrid RBI production with 2 more.
