Coaches comments: Coaches comments:

Steve Cornelison - " Cleveland is solid in every area. Coach Policastro does an outstanding job and I can assure you they will be ready to play. They pitch well and play good defense. Anything we get, we'll have to fight for. Offensively, they have been very good all year. For our team to be successful, we will need to play well defensively. That was key for us this past weekend and will be the diff- erence in this series. The team that plays good defensively will most likely win the series. Like every weekend, I'm sure this will be a hard fought series." Mike Policastro - " Jackson State is having a great year. The numbers they are putting up are very impressive. Coach Cornelison and their staff are doing an unbelievable job to be staying at the top of this conference for the past few years. We know that Jackson State is going to be really good on the mound. There are many experienced impact sophomores in their lineup which are going to make it difficult for us to pitch to. We cannot let Jackson State have the big inning. Their offense is capable of putting big numbers on the board. Our pitching staff
and defense are going to have to be at the top of our game to not let them have the big inning. We need to continue to get better off-ensively and have more quality at bats. We have got to be able to make adjustments off of their pitching staff because we know they are going to be around the plate and throwing a lot of strikes. As a competitor there is nothing better than to be in a series of 1 vs. 2. I know that both teams will be excited and both know that this weekend could decide the
season."
