Coaches comments: Coaches comments:
Ken Campbell - "This will be a very tough series for us. As always, Jackson State has a very good ball club. A key for us will be our pitching staff stepping
up and getting the job done. We anticipate 3 very exciting games this weekend.
"
Steve Cornelison - "This series is a great challenge for our team. Walters State is a first class program and has been the most successful team in our league over
the past 3 or 4 years. Going to Morristown to play against the 3rd ranked team in the nation will not be an easy task. I think the key to this series for us will be our starting pitching and how we, as a team, ap-proach the series mentally.

This was an extremely hard fought series that fea-tured outstanding pitching performances from both teams. Tunnello pitched a phenomenal game in game two for Jackson. Waddell allowed us to rebound from the loss with a pitching gem of his own in game three. I thought both teams battled and fought hard in all three games and this led to an exciting series.
