About Us
The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association is built on the belief that the growth of baseball in our state depends on the dedication, passion, and leadership of its coaches. Our mission is to advance the game by supporting coaches, fostering player development, and strengthening the baseball community across Tennessee.
Since its founding in the early 1990s, the TBCA has established itself as one of the premier coaches’ associations in the South. Our structure and vision have served as a model for other states, inspiring the creation and reorganization of similar associations nationwide. Together, we remain committed to growing the game, building strong relationships, and ensuring a lasting legacy for baseball in Tennessee.
Our Purpose
To unify the
Game of Baseball
in the state of Tennessee
• To unify all baseball coaches in the State of Tennessee.
• To instill in the coaches a deeper sense of responsibility in developing,
maintaining and conducting the game of baseball.
• To create an official line of communication with the TSSAA and with the college
and junior college coaches in Tennessee.
• To honor persons and organizations that have done an extraordinary job
of promoting baseball in Tennessee.
• To maintain a strong contact with local and national organizations
of baseball.
• To annually select:
• All State baseball teams
• A Coach of the Year and Player of the Year in each classification
• Mr. Baseball in each classification
• To recognize and honor the coaches of state championship teams
• To establish and maintain a “Hall of Fame"
•To honor any additional person who has significantly

TBCA Convention & Events
Attend the state's largest clinic each January and join 500+ High School and College coaches from across the great state of Tennessee.
Clinic topics include pitching, hitting, fielding, strength & conditioning, team building, motivation, rules changes, and a variety of other topics!

The Clinic also features the TBCA Trade Show with more than 60 companies showcasing the latest baseball products, clothing, and the latest innovations. Other events include a Question & Answer Forum, Hot Stove and Rookie Coaches Mentorship Panel Discussions, award celebrations, networking socials, and more!
